The Gossamer Song – Min Hui Fen, Min Xiao-Fen released in 2004 by FIM. Madam Hui Fen Min is regarded as the most esteemed masters of Erhu artistry in China. Over the years, she has recorded for many labels in China, and in 2001, FIM had the privilege of producing her award-winning album “River of Sorrow” (FIM #32). Madam Min performed at Carnegie Hall in early February 2004 and completed a truly remarkable recording session that produced this album for FIM. All the pieces selected for this new album emerged as beautifully poetic, and very much a reflection of her unique artistry, especially the theme piece “The Gossaner Song.” Mastered and manufactured in XRCD24 by JVC.
