Magic Voices II released in 2005 by ACT Music. Album once again presents the cream of the label’s vocal talent, this time around accompanied by contributions from the likes of JAMIE CULLUM, CASSANDRA WILSON and STACEY KENT.
The vocalists signed to the ACT label have a distinctly European feel to both their voices and their choice of material, often taking songs that might seem unlikely jazz vehicles and transforming them into truly great pieces of jazz interpretation. Other artists from the label who are featured here include Viktoria Tolstoy, Muriel Zoe, Nils Landgren and Rigmor Gustafsson.
ACT Music is a German record label founded in 1992 by Siegfried Loch. ACT was voted Label of the Year in the German Echo Jazz online poll four times in a row from 2010 to 2013.
